About Me

My purpose is to support others in creating on a variety of levels grounded in their core values and highest good.

I serve clients as an art doula, coach, creative steward, executive consultant, and advisor; in my practice, I work with artists, creatives, leaders, writers, retirees, and mission-aligned organizations to realize creative and strategic projects, career and life transitions, and organizational change and culture initiatives. As a coach, I seek to build on what's working to support others in creating an ideal vision of their future. I also lead strategic planning workshops and present visual literacy seminars, writing intensives, and art tutorials in the form of an "Alternative Art School" for groups and individuals.

My approach is based on creative inquiry and underscored by deep forms of looking. Here, vision is critical, playful, and ultimately holds court as a site where the body, psyche, and social meet.

Overall, I create uniquely intimate and personalized working experiences to bring to light the core values at the heart of my clients’ practices—and then set a plan for putting those priorities into motion.

As a culture producer, my body of work includes writing(s) on art, visual culture, and the role of the avisual senses (olfactory, haptic, sonic, and otherwise) in visuality. The focus of my research examines art’s capacity to develop critical understandings of contemporary culture. In this capacity, I’m also co-founder of Dissolve, an art collective where art-making and looking are personal, performative, entangled, and unexpected.

I am based in the U.S. Bay Area via the East Coast. My work is informed by my 20-year career in the arts/museums, education, and philanthropic institutions. I was a graduate fellow and earned a master’s degree in History and Theory of Contemporary Art at the San Francisco Art Institute and a bachelor’s degree in Art History at Florida International University. I’m also a certified Art Life Coach, English as a Second Language Tutor, and End-of-Life Doula.

Overall, life experience and creative inquiry can be described as my greatest teachers because they offer invaluable lessons that go beyond any surface or linear understanding of oneself and the world. They shape our perspectives, enhance our adaptability and resilience, and foster a deeper understanding of our intentions. Experience, together with curiosity, encourages us to embrace uncertainty, learn from perceived failures, and continuously create.
