The purpose of my end-of-life (death) doula practice is to honor the individual and their loved ones during one of life’s most intimate, unique, and transformative moments. I create a grounded and compassionate space for comfort, companionship, and partnership before and during the end-of-life transition. My overarching intention is to help people remember that they are souls in transition—moving from one embodied life to the next experience. I am here to support others in feeling heard, valued, and at peace with their transition, guiding them through the experience in a way that respects their soul and core values.

Together, we make the end-of-life experience just as meaningful as the beginning by creating opportunities for acceptance, reconciliation, resolve, and letting go. Death is fundamentally about life because it serves as a threshold that gives meaning and urgency to living. I can support you in developing an authentic relationship with your life even before you begin your end-of-life journey. I help you develop a deeper relationship to the transformative nature of life and its impermanence.
I am especially honored to support clients with the creation of life reviews, writing letters, and recording personal stories and memoirs—this work can be done much before or during the dying process. I also enable open and honest conversations about death, fears, or concerns with the dying and their loved ones. I offer practical guidance and comfort by helping the dying person navigate the dying process, helping to make meaning of the experience and find the words they wish to express to themselves and others. When possible, I also help individuals carry out and resolve matters that would support a peaceful transition. This work helps the dying understanding that they can have complete control of how they wish to die.

The purpose of a life review is to develop a deep understanding of your life’s arc and identify patterns, themes, meaning, and purpose. This is a process of introspection and reflection during which you take a comprehensive look at your experiences. It involves examining decisions and relationships, challenges, delights, and learnings. We also bring light to unresolved issues and when possible, create plans to facilitate reconciliations, life stories, and final messages.
Legacy works can be created throughout one's life and/or at the end-of-life. This is a guided process that allows one to document and preserve experiences for future generations. The work is about creating a memento that reflects one's values, beliefs, and life experiences. It involves reflecting on your life’s meaning and deciding how to put these narratives to form—such as through a memoir, storytelling, written letters, recorded interviews, artwork, or recipe books.
I provide resources on estate planning and wills by facilitating conversations, organizing documents, and offering educational guidance to support you in articulating your end-of-life wishes and ensure everyone understands the plan. This includes helping you understand state-specific rules regarding advance directives and providing referrals to attorneys for legal execution.
This personalized service supports you and your loved ones during the end-of-life experience. I offer emotional, spiritual, and practical support in the home, hospital, or hospice. I provide a compassionate and non-judgmental presence, listening to the client's concerns and offering guidance and resources. I may also support the client's loved ones, helping them cope with what can arise. My intention is to provide comfort to the client, ensuring they feel respected, heard, and empowered.

I am called to offer death care as a result of my own experiences with transitions and mourning and supporting the beloveds around me. I understand the importance of taking care of the relationships we have and the impact of our words and actions, not only at the end but also throughout the course of our lives. I began formal training in 2020 and earned End-of-Life Doula certification at the University of Vermont. Overall, life experience has been my greatest teacher. Currently based in the US Bay Area, I offer services to clients based locally and virtually anywhere. My first languages are English and Spanish.

If you are curious to explore what it's like to work with me, I invite you to invest in a reflection guide. The guide is a PDF featuring a series of questions for contemplation, journaling, and/or meditation.
